Out with the old and in with the new right?! WRONG. Even when trying to forget stuff or when actually forgetting it, and not being able to remember every single detail because it really wasn’t that important, doesn’t mean that it isn’t important to somebody else who wasn’t there when it happens. I’m just afraid of getting penalized for something that I don’t care to remember or want to remember because every new memory is so much better and so much sweeter, numbers or words can not begin to describe them. I’m over everything in my past, but trying to dig into it or uncover something from it that I legit don’t remember or care to remember, doesn’t make me get over my past. I’ve told everything that I can remember, and will continue to tell everything when I remember, just don’t get mad that I can’t remember everything when I’m asked to. Stop dwelling on what the past stole, because it’s preventing not only the view, but the gifts the future holds.
